Seventy-five artists have contributed songs, most of them previously unreleased, to Durto Jnana's Not Alone compilation. Damon And Naomi , Allen Ginsberg , Devendra Banhart , Richard Buckner , Edward Ka-Spel , Jad Fair , Antony , Teenage Fanclub , Bonnie "Prince" Billy , Nurse With Wound , Thurston Moore , Marc Almond , Jim O'Rourke , Coil , Shock Headed Peters and Canadian artists Shannon Lyon, Lynn Jackson and Sarah Hallman are among the eclectic contributors to Not Alone.
All of the proceeds from the five-disc package will be donated to Medecins Sans Frontieres to assist them in their work fighting the AIDS epidemic in Africa.
